I think this is happening since pretty much the beginning; it's not a bug, just missing data and not very noticeable but it can confuse new users or users using the GUI (tbh I prefer the cli).
The kernel list is only displaying the latest available version even for the currently installed and the case may be it's not updated so it's a information mismatch.
I think the more logical way would be to put the last version in between parentheses, so taking into account the change proposed in #90 I would say something like:
```
linux410 [Experimental] [Running]
Linux 4.10rc6-1 (4.10rc7-1) [Installed]
```
Thinking about new users, maybe something more to make clear that the version in between the parenthesis is a new one? Like "New available"? Or no need?
This would mean that there should be one more button, currently there's only a Remove button (and install if it's not installed) but in the case is not updated there should be a update button in addition to the Remove one.
I was thinking about submitting a PR but I've never worked with the QT library so I'm not so sure (It'd probably be hacky :D)https://gitlab.manjaro.org/applications/manjaro-settings-manager/-/issues/116Button for locking user accounts2022-06-17T00:16:38ZPhilip MüllerButton for locking user accounts*Created by: notramo*

After removing, or installing a kernel in Manjaro Kernel Manager, Windows 7 disappears from GRUB menu. Running 'grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg' solve this problem. But a newbie cannot run programs from terminal. There is a bug reported at bugs.manjaro.org, but I think it is more important than "normal". Since the last update, I have no special signs on the numbered keys whilst holding Alt Gr key in the Spanish keyboard layouts. Hence, I have no @ sign. I looked in manjaro-settings-manager and they keyboard is almost generic USA with an tilde N. It seems to have reverted to mainly the USA layout with @ sign on shift+2 instead of Alt Gr+2
I just ran `sudo setxkbmap es` and my keyboard is working again but it isn't being set automatically.

I'm liking MSM, but one thing that seems missing to me for a truly smooth GUI experience is being able to control it via keyboard only. At the moment I'm using version 0.4.96-4 and the keyboard usability is very inconsistent between the different settings menus. On the initial screen for instance it is possible to select the individual menus like Language, User Accounts etc. but there seems to be no way to access them without a mouseclick. Similar case with the menus for kernel, language and language packages where it's impossible to tab-select the central menus, only the bottom (or top buttons).https://gitlab.manjaro.org/applications/manjaro-settings-manager/-/issues/67msm kernel manager bug2022-06-17T00:18:06ZPhilip Müllermsm kernel manager bug*Created by: badbodh*

When I create a new standard user, the new user belongs to the groups: disk and storage (and others)
This is bad, because users of the disk group can edit partitions and users of the storage group can for example edit /etc/fstab using gnome-disks.
Isn't this a big security hole? Every new user can do this, without an ask for a password, so ..
I would recommend not adding all new users to this 2 groups.https://gitlab.manjaro.org/applications/manjaro-settings-manager/-/issues/111Automatic time shall be applicable2018-06-03T14:46:57ZPhilip MüllerAutomatic time shall be applicable*Created by: es20490446e*

when we create a new user with the manjaro settings manager, it don't follow the settings
of USERGROUPS_ENAB in /etc/login.defs and always specify "users" as primary group.
in /src/modules/users/AddUserDialog.cpp
`<args["arguments"] = QStringList() << "-m" << "-p" << "" << "-g" << "users" << "-G" << DEFAULT_USER_GROUPS << username;>`
That seems not consistent because since Manjaro 15.12 the installer create and set the primary group with the same name as the login name for the default user.

as far back as I can remember, manjaro-settings-manager has not been accessible with orca, the screen reader. It's written in qt, so this definitely is possible. I'm not at all sure how to fix this, but qt apps are not hard to make accessible with orca. Maybe declaring the area where all the icons are an icon pane? As long as the roll is set correctly, meaning a list is set up as a list, orca should read it fine, assuming no custom widgets are used. If they are, then they need accessible labels attached to them. Sorry, just trying to give as much information as I can.

hi , i see pamac of what ever messed a bit with the DB pacman, i dont know what it was

http://i.imgur.com/5YvqHa4.png
its because DB is bit messed i notice, pacman -Syy fixed the thing i notice. but on translation
for Not supported is bit messed up.. i think i hear further those confusion like not supported..
but its likely more that the database not synced properly
after pacman -Syy
i get this :+1:
http://i.imgur.com/dUur2cz.png
thats better, i know is something on pamac , have to see further on that before i fill :)
on matter, i see its status of te repo, the middle line.. but some users seems also read different..
I would say, Auto-sync option if the kernel module not see not more then 3 kernels. i mean online...
To suppose to act bit smarter... not supported some people read different.. but the middle line is not what they mean.. but i would say atmeast auto-sync feature to the database because if database bit messed up or what ever happend kernels dont show up as it should..
Then it said not supported. but is a minor not direct a issue only i see some here and there people talk about that. but issuie is more the mirror sync.

Despite my best efforts, I cannot get my system to run a Manjaro Live USB. I have tried every USB imager listed on the wiki and in the forums. I have also tried writing the image to USB via dd. My system ignores the USB drive and loads up Grub.
I then tried to boot Manjaro through Grub. I did the following commands in the Grub terminal:
set root ='hd2'
find /[tab]
This resulted in the following being listed through tab completion:
.miso EFI/ isolinux loader/ manjaro/
So I know that hd2 is the USB drive.
I then typed:
chainloader +1
boot
and ended up with just a flashing cursor. Am I doing something wrong? I should mention that I have successfully booted Debian from USB countless times.

I investigated. and I don't understand the problem.
in
`ActionDialog::startJob()`
the function
`if ( job->exec() )` who start the KAuth action
return false before the pacman process exit in
> ActionReply
> KernelAuthHelper::runPacman( const QVariantMap& args )

Here my debug output (i added qDebug outputs)
```
"16:15:04" before 'if ( job->exec() )'
Debug message from helper: "16:15:10" before 'pacman->start( "/usr/bin/pacman", args["arguments"].toStringList() );'
"16:15:29" after 'if ( job->exec() )'
Debug message from helper: "16:15:50" after 'pacman->waitForFinished( -1 );'
```
we can see that job-exec() returned 20s before pacman QProcess finished
maybe someone will understand why. I don't.
