Git package build from pamac (from AUR) showing up as installed from both official repos and AUR.
Hello,
Yesterday I installed plasma-desktop-git from AUR, using the pacmac GUI (I'm trying to sort out a bug in my KDE that is meant to be fixed in the latest source).
The plasma-desktop-git package is available both on AUR, as well as the official manjaro repos. But I needed to build from the latest source, so I picked the AUR version.
However, now the package manager seems to think that both are installed. Screenshots attached below.
As you can see:
- When "All" is selected, version = r8058, and size = 20.3MB, and source = Official Repositories
- When "Installed" is selected, version = r8058, and size = 20.3MB, and source = Official Repositories (as above)
- When "Repositories" is selected, version = 5.20.80.r8028, size = 19.7mb and source = Official Repositories. Strange how the version and size has changed.
- When "AUR" is selected, version = r8058, and size = 20.3MB, and source = AUR
So, it seems like depending on which tab I select in the GUI, pamac is confusing which package I actually have installed (I installed the AUR package).
For good measure, I also included a screenshot of my system settings, showing the KDE version.
BTW, I definitely didn't install both, nor do I have a DE selector in my logins screen.
