[Pamac 7.3.4] Small annoyance - Tooltip doesn't appear correctly when panel is large and at bottom
Issue reproduced with Pamac 7.3.4 both on Cinnamon 4.0.8 (real hardware) and XFCE 4.12 (VM on VirtualBox 6.0.0).
A small annoyance I encountered when using a relatively big panel on the bottom of the screen. When I hover the Pamac tray icon, the tooltip appears below the icon and not above, which means that the text given by the tooltip is completely unreadable.
Here's what happen when I hover the tray icon when the panel height is set at 48 px.
When I set the height at 32 px., it gives the expected result.
The same thing happens on XFCE too. Panel size: 40 px.
Panel size: 27 px.
The behavior I expect is to see the tooltip at the right place with any panel size, so we can actually read the information even with a larger panel. Something like below (taken from Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon).
It doesn't make the tray icon unusable though, just unfortunate that we can't quickly check how many updates are available simply by hovering the icon, which is a nice although arguably not essential feature.
Is there something that can be done about it on your side?
