"Oh no! Something has gone wrong" aka phosh core dump

For a while I have been getting an error screen that says "Oh no! Something has gone wrong" with the only option being to "Log Out" which then usually requires a hard power reset.
Today I got the error shortly after a reboot and had an active ssh remote connection and was able to dump the attached log using journalctl --since=today --priority=4
producing 20210305.phosh.coredump.txt
Issue appears to be that after a couple of phosh crashes it gives up with Mar 05 18:22:04 inimdugdug gnome-session-binary[3823]: WARNING: App 'sm.puri.Phosh.desktop' respawning too quickly
and the message gets displayed
Most (maybe all) of the times this seem to be triggered when doing on screen keyboard entry (e.g. Keyring Password entry after boot, Messaging app while entering sms message, or firefox url bar)
