Suspend Issues on Acer Predator Helios 500 Ryzen

Suspend and then resuming on this machine results in a non-legible screen. Issue is documented in this link: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/suspend-results-in-non-legible-screen-acer-predator-helios-500-ryzen/77603 Being that no work around has been found yet I am filing this as a bug report.

Please let me know what else is needed to get this going.
