`-i` option brakes the `pamac list -m` output
Versions
Pamac 10.3.0-1 - libpamac 11.2.0
Desktop environment
KDE
What's not working
Additional option brakes the output, but that option is only redundant, no more and at least should be ignored or should be used and to show the same list, if pamac list -m
shows only installed packages. The manual of -m
should be changed according to this.
How to reproduce?
~/Desktop ❯ pamac list -m
fswatch 1.16.0-1 AUR 763.0 kB
krusader-git 2.8.0.dev.r6379.g04e6286f-1 AUR 4.9 MB
vscodium-bin 1.62.3-1 AUR 282.6 MB
Ok, but if I add installed
option:
~/Desktop ❯ pamac list -m -i
List packages, groups, repositories or files
pamac list [options]
options:
--installed, -i : list installed packages
--explicitly-installed, -e : list explicitly installed packages
--orphans, -o : list packages that were installed as dependencies but are no longer required by any installed package
--foreign, -m : list packages that were not found in the repositories
--groups, -g [group(s)] : list all packages that are members of the given groups, if no group is given list all groups
--repos, -r [repo(s)] : list all packages available in the given repos, if no repo is given list all repos
--files, -f <package(s)> : list files owned by the given packages
--quiet, -q : only print names
Yeah, that -i
could be redundant option for the -m
option, which description should be changed, but are you sure that additional redundant -i
should brake the result output?
So the suggestion is to fix those 2 bold items.
