Pamac doesn't ask to try to build anyway if architecture differs on aarch64
Pamac --version
Pamac 10.3.0-1 - libpamac 11.2.0-0
Variant in use
GUI
Distribution
e.g. ArchLinux (Asahi MacBook Air 2020 M1)
Desktop environment
e.g. GNOME
What's not working
If i install a package using yay on aarch64 and the package isn't avaiable for aarch64, yay asks if i want to build it anyway because some build and run correctly. Pacman instead stop the install with error due to architecture differences
How to reproduce?
- Step 1 Try to install a package not avaiable for your architecture
- Step 2 See error for different architecture
More information (optional)
Would be very useful to ask from GUI if you want to try to build it, like yay already does
