Enhancement suggestion:
It would be nice, when installing big package with a lot of missing dependencies, to know how much disk space will everything take at the end. I actually started making a script for that...and then i noticed that pacman actually has this functionality and always report download size and disk size before confirming transaction (so i did not need to make a script myself). For some unknown reason this functionality is missing from pamac. It is actually even stranger that all the main views for searching packets actually show the installed size as they should, but when the user starts to install something, after clicking Apply, the window/confirmation dialog listing all the dependencies that will be installed shows only the download size.
Here is what i mean: for example with blender on my system, the package itself will take 600MB disk space. With all the missing dependencies, another 300MB will be downloaded, and the total disk space that will be taken will be 1400 MB. I find this kind of relevant information to be missing from pamac. And this should be very easy to fix, cause all the routines/iterations are already there, since the download size is pulled from the database, and pamac can warn of insufficient disk space before a transaction, so i guess it already makes this calculation internally, it is just not shown to the user.
