Base Install Missing Ed and Vi
Hello, I'm writing with some curiosity involving the base installs. I recently picked up a Pinebook Pro 64, and have never used Manjaro before, but that seems to be the distro they start with.
I booted the new system up and immediately hopped into command-line to begin configuring things the way I like, and found that neither ed nor vi were installed. I hope I'm not misreading the files here and lodging an issue that should be directed to the Pine folks, but I couldn't find anywhere in these files where the standard UNIX text editors are actually included in the base system, nor do they seem to actually be present, it seems I have to explicitly install them.
Am I missing something or is this consistent with how things are setup currently? I can somewhat see excluding vi on the grounds that it is in the User Portability section of POSIX, which SUSv3 declares as optional, but ed is not in that boat, it is a standard part of an UNIX-like system by both the SUSv3 and LSB 5.0. Thoughts?
