Just wanted to say Hi
I am the person who initially did the heavy lifting of bringing Unity8 (it was still called Unity8 back then!) to Arch.
You can see my "Maintainer" notice on most of the core Lomiri packages.
This is not an issue, feel free to close it. Just wanted to say that I really appreciate the fact that something I started as a side-project turned into something this big, and I really value the fact that it has official Manjaro team support.
Fun fact: I started this project to prove my point in an argument. I don't really remember the specifics of that argument, but I believe that Dalton Durst from UBports said that I wouldn't be able to package Lomiri (former Unity8) to Arch alone. I decided to prove him wrong. Not to say that I did this entirely alone, I asked for help numerous times, but the core packaging work was done entirely by me.
Another fun fact: the year was 2018, and I was only 15 years old back then. I was attending a regular public school in Russia (I was in 9th grade I believe). Most of my work was done at nights before school.
I would appreciate if you listed me as a contributor somewhere in the credits. I usually go by my username "vanyasem" and/or my full name "Ivan Semkin". This would really mean a lot to me, as this project was an important part of my teenage years.
Love from CIS. Manjaro x UBports.
