Discover "Failed to update 1 package"

After restart, splash screen allows to open discover or repair system, where repair system does not change anything.

Also says Failed to update 1 package, failed to update database: unexpected system error

Now on open discover the system will be fetching updates again (very slow), then will message up to date.

There was thread on the forum, but without resolving the actual problem: http://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=14209

Yes, I can update the system with pacman and pacman states that there is no problem with any package. So in essence seems to be that Discover itself has had a problem with one package, and still thinks it has.

I can use pacman, but that actually doesn't solve the issue, it's just a work around.
