Enormous boot slowdown when using proprietary NVIDIA Drivers. (weird behavoir)
So after installing Manjaro 18.0 yesterday, i noticed that its boot time is a lot slower after installing the proprietary NVIDIA drivers (410.73). However, this was never the case with Manjaro 17.X.
After disabling hiding of grub and removing the "quiet" kernel parmameter from GRUB to see the kernel logs, I noticed that the System gets stuck at
[OK] Started TLP system startup/shutdown.
After being there for ~45s the system starts up normally.
Now, for the most interesting part:
If i hit the "Enter" key on my keyboard 5 times (or more) after getting to the
message, the system starts straight away as before without ANY delay...
It did not happen on a 17.1.12 install upgraded to 18.0 so I assume that it has to do with grub-quiet.
